Of late, several of my blog regulars have expressed interest in wanting to know more about my dressing style. No, for real! So unfortunately the rest of you who aren’t, still might have to endure these more-regular- than-I’d-like posts that I would do on some of the looks of mine. Considering I am an “on the fly” dresser, this is going to be fun For starters, here’s one which I thought should make the cut simply because 1. It’s fun to wear color in winter 2. It’s even more fun to go monochrome and 3. Spring’s coming and green is going to be all the rage :D. (See it wasn’t so bad after all!) Have a fabulous weekend everyone
Is the world coming to an end?No Is color blocking dying a slow death? Maybe… First there were some fierce saturated tones paired with each other to create super – in – your – face looks… then the colors were paired with pastels and neutrals as pops… now it seems like fashion( think haider ackermann, alexander wang, pucci and several others on the runway) is going the tonal route… with colors of the same family being worn head to toe.. to create a monochrome look. Would you jump onto this trend? As for me the last time I wore everything so matchy – matchy I was in 5th grade but hey if you can carry it off, I say why not?
Had I made a dollar for every mint item I’ve seen this month, I’d have my own apartment! Not really, but you get the idea ! I know I’ve been harping(annoyingly so) about mint being big this spring! And I patted myself on the back when I saw PRADA’s window display at SOHO this week.
When prada puts out a bag in this color you know you need to run and buy yourself some mint( Kidding. not) Here are somethings that might inspire you to make friends with this fresh pick:)
Still not taking the bait? Try painting your nails, in a shade of mint that flatters your skin tone and you’ll be a fan for life Do I still see you looking skeptical? Don’t tell me I didn’t try Make the most of the weather and head out for some mint and chocolate chip ice cream at Alphabet scoop! Happy spring everyone!
