It’s been a while since I wore a. A dress b. color c. A print d. specifically a paisley print so when I received this dress( as part of a goodie box :D) for my anniversary from the in-laws, I knew I had a blog – worthy closet addition!:) Fitted dresses and indian snacks don’t really go together but what’s fashion if it doesn’t involve keeping your stomach sucked in ( at least for photos) 😛 Have a wonderful day and wear some color people!! 😉
Granted a little black dress is a classic wardrobe piece, but in summer it’s only fair I switch it for something a little more colorful! Enter this kelly green dress which I paired with a navy blazer and yellow jelly peep toes( Yes more color) and I am rain/sun/ “whatever-else-NY-weather-chooses-to-be” ready 😀
Of late, several of my blog regulars have expressed interest in wanting to know more about my dressing style. No, for real! So unfortunately the rest of you who aren’t, still might have to endure these more-regular- than-I’d-like posts that I would do on some of the looks of mine. 🙂 Considering I am an “on the fly” dresser, this is going to be fun 😀 For starters, here’s one which I thought should make the cut simply because 1. It’s fun to wear color in winter 2. It’s even more fun to go monochrome and 3. Spring’s coming and green is going to be all the rage :D. (See it wasn’t so bad after all!) Have a fabulous weekend everyone 😀
Feeling green? Consider yourself ahead of the fashion curve;) Pantone just announced “EMERALD” to be the color of the season…. Little surprise there considering how much love we showered on mint over spring summer! 😀 I personally love the deep shade of green, it flatters most skin tones and hence I most certainly approve 🙂 which make me want to ask – would emerald be as much as an “it” color as last year’s pantone shade Tangerine? If the below pictures are any indication, it probably will 🙂
Had I made a dollar for every mint item I’ve seen this month, I’d have my own apartment! Not really, but you get the idea 🙂 ! I know I’ve been harping(annoyingly so) about mint being big this spring! And I patted myself on the back when I saw PRADA’s window display at SOHO this week.
When prada puts out a bag in this color you know you need to run and buy yourself some mint( Kidding. not) Here are somethings that might inspire you to make friends with this fresh pick:)
Still not taking the bait? Try painting your nails, in a shade of mint that flatters your skin tone and you’ll be a fan for life 🙂Do I still see you looking skeptical? Don’t tell me I didn’t try 🙂 Make the most of the weather and head out for some mint and chocolate chip ice cream at Alphabet scoop! 🙂 Happy spring everyone!
