Wearing yellow makes me look like someone who showers twice a day and has her sh*t together! 😛 And that is precisely why it is one of my favorite colors. Here’s me looking like a lace cushion that grew some limbs! BUT A VERY HAPPY LACE CUSHION AND THAT’S WHAT MATTERS PEOPLE! 🙂 Have a wonderful monday!
One fine day I woke up and decided I was done with being a slacker and to dress a little more like a lady if not act like one.;) So I picked a gathered skirt with a touch of lace paired with a simple t shirt, a string of pearls and cream ballet flats. I wore it through the day, then got tired, changed into an oversized t shirt and a pair of shorts and decided being a lady wasn’t for me 😛 However a little dress-up once in a while hurt nobody! 😀 Happy wednesday!
So much for being excited about spring when it actually snowed a bit last night! 😛 But the weather has got to turn some day soon and that day I will wear a pair of kicks like these and prance around. Of course I’ll be happy to have this Valentino if someone’s feeling generous…. if not these will have to do 😀
I am into doing my posts as a series now rather than random bits.. why you ask? Perhaps it is a little more interesting?.. You tell me 😀 Anyway following the shirt up and polka mini series, I decided to take this chance to obssess about statement necklaces. Why the love..maybe because when I have 15 mins to run out the door, all I need to find is a clean T shirt,a pair of pants or a skirt and throw on a chunky piece and somehow I feel like I am somehow more appropriately dressed to take on my day!?! Any statement necklace junkies to back me up on this please step forward 😉
PS: Unlike last time I probably wouldn’t do an outfit post for the series everyday.. I’d want to spread it over 2 weeks simply because I have so many other things to say after my little Vegas break 😛 HAPPY DAY 🙂
Anyone not love lace? Ummm…I see no hands up and so I can safely assume that you all are going to LOVE this outfit of mine.. 😛 Jokes apart, I am very leery of buying lace pieces simply because they do tend to look tacky or cheap especially considering what I can afford to pay for them;) But I think I hit the bull’s eye with this one. A lace shirt that looks as feminine as work-ready? What’s not to love. Also please do me a favor and notice my shoes 😛
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I hardly go the “what I wore today” route for the obvious reason that my wardrobe sorely lacks in the “looks” department 😛 but today was an exception! This outfit could be right out of a sunny spring day but for the boots and the chunky sweater and jacket that remain carefully hidden. Because why not? 😉
Come summer, and crochet comes with it bringing a touch of handcrafted feminine charm to your outfit! And the best part – you still stay airy while the sun
beats shines down on you 🙂 If that weren’t enough, these patterned pretties look great as a cover up on the beach, on a pair of shorts for a day out, a cute little vest over your sundress, thrown over a pastel tank and pretty much everything else… even on accessories!
