Its that time of the year for sunscreen, facial tissues and rivulets of sweat running down places they shouldn’t be. Which is precisely why its time for all things white and nothing tight. 😛 In the below slides, you see the specimen trying to stay hydrated, not burn to a crisp and look presentable on camera … AND FAILING! But I will be practicing again this weekend 😉 Have a wonderful friday and folks in america; make the most of the extra holiday! 😀
The week comes to an end and so does the challenge( thankfully? ;)) but I must say I’ll have to sort of disappoint you’ll. Having a flight to catch today has rendered me incapable of actually editing and posting my pictures from yesterday so we’ll have to make do with an image from my ahem.. archives 😉 This may easily be my favorite shirt.. except for the fact that it wrinkles easily … but thats a minor hitch compared to how nicely it goes with everything! Also I always buy them a size larger so I can float around in it:P( aka happily hide in it) Hope you’ll liked this week’s challenge! Alright..time to pack up.. And in case you want to know where I am off to … VEGAS BABY! 😀
PS: I should be back on track by late next week. I will be sure to come read all your posts and wonderful comments… until then.. Happy Weekend! 🙂
Heading out doors? The beach maybe? Give your favorite tee a break and pull on a shirt instead, you look more put together while still keeping it causal! And feel free to go crazy with your colors…. like I did with this cobalt one – perfect for the last few remaining weeks of summer B) Say what?
ALSO HERE’S WISHING ALL FELLOW INDIANS A VERY HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! JAIHIND 🙂
When we talk shirts, it would be gross injustice if we fail to include the denim version. My love for this wardobe classic is well documented.. so trust me to do one of my challenge posts featuring my favorite washed shirt:) This time I chose to layer it over a striped tee with a pair of cuffed khakhis and a statement necklace. Casual and little to no effort putting together in the same sentence is an easy sell don’t you think? 🙂
Anyone not love lace? Ummm…I see no hands up and so I can safely assume that you all are going to LOVE this outfit of mine.. 😛 Jokes apart, I am very leery of buying lace pieces simply because they do tend to look tacky or cheap especially considering what I can afford to pay for them;) But I think I hit the bull’s eye with this one. A lace shirt that looks as feminine as work-ready? What’s not to love. Also please do me a favor and notice my shoes 😛
