My love for mustard was limited to putting them on my sandwiches and burgers but now it looks like it has a place in my wardrobe too ;P Considering how many mustard sweaters, blouses and pants I’ve been seeing around in stores, I probably am not the only one nodding my head in approval! 😀 I think the color perfectly complements fall dressing and it agrees with a myriad of skin tones. I love this boyfriend blazer which lends itself to being styled in so many ways – the fact that it is cut below the hips gives me the courage to eat an extra slice of pumpkin pie 😛 Anyone else in camp mustard? Oh and Happy hump day you guys!
I had posted about how much am loving the kimono trend lately! And here’s a picture of me wearing a simple tie dye version over a plain tee paired with jeans( which for some reason look black in this!?) It’s probably not as exciting the way it is, but switch the jeans to a pair of shorts, the shoes for thong sandals and maybe add a wide brim straw hat and I would be beach-ready! 😀 My mind’s already on the weekend when it is only wednesday! *Sigh*
This trend is probably one of the easier one’s for me to try simply because 1. I have taken a shine to slightly over sized easy pieces that don’t hug my body 2. I can wear it over a dress, a tank, pair it with shorts or pants – so obviously it is super versatile 3. They come in the prettiest summer patterns ever and can really punch up your outfit. 4. I find that they are very forgiving to love handles and such! 😛 I already have 2 pieces in my wardrobe I am waiting to wear.. now if only the rain stops! Anyone else aboard the kimono bandwagon? 😀
While last season was all about cuffed pants( But I shall continue to wear them anyway.. ha!) this one’s all about the ear cuff! A single piece of jewelry that can totally transform your look….taking you from mehh to holy molly! It would also be the perfect way to detract attention from a sleepy early morning face, acne scars, and a make up free face which makes this high priority on my lust list! 😉 Happy hump day!
My agenda for the weekend is now clear! Head to Soho/ Browse on Etsy( depending on how lazy I feel) to find a bunch of totally cute and delicate rings that I don’t have to drop a bomb on! Smile smugly and wait to wear them all at once!:D What’s on your agenda? 😀 Happy week!
I thought blogging daily was hard but blogging thrice a week is worse because all of a sudden I seem to have so much to tell 😛 So before I forget, here’s a trend tidbit! Oxblood is a fall staple.. which is old news.. but pair it with a bright citrus orange .. and you have yourself a fresh take on an old favorite 😀 So now the question is.. Do or Do not? There is no try 😛
Technically speaking, Camo isn’t a flash-in-the-pan trend.. come fall and it almost always comes with it.. Infact it has almost gained the status of being a wardrobe favorite so if you are wondering what I am asking you to try here, I am getting to that in just a bit 😀 This season, give your blacks and neutrals a break and pair camo with saturated brights for an interesting take on an old favorite! After all fashion is as much about reinventing as creating 😀 Trend to try??
